A Walk to the MAIL-BOX!!

Frustrated and not knowing how to get my baby to calm down.... I put her in the stroller and we headed off to the mail-box. We got there and it was too EARLY-- the mail man hadnt come yet so there was no mail. We turned back around and headed home. By the time we got home, this was what I saw!!

Weeeeeeds!!!!!!!

So I went in my backyard for the 1st time in ohhhhhh....
8 MONTHS...... I couldnt tell what was a plant and what was a weed!! I thought I had rocks, but it was offly GREEN!!!

So I hired my little sister to help.. A total of 10 hours PULLING WEEDS!!!
I was determined that this would never happen again. So I got some stuff that stops the weeds from ever growning. I begged Vance to spray it and finally he agreed.

I poured it into the sprayer and Vance said this stuff was TOXIC and he needed a bandana to cover his face!!

WE DO NOT HAVE A BANDANA!!

So instead I got a kitchen towel! My kitchen is Brown and White (My towels use to be brown until I put them in the wash with a RED RUG). Hence the Pink Towel on Vance's Face.

However the towel wasnt big enough to go around his head and tie it. So instead I got out the shipping/packaging tape and I taped it to his head!! IT WAS HILARIOUS!!! I GUESS YOU HAD TO BE THERE!!

Get a LIFE!!!

Well my little sister Haley spent the night. While she was over I was writing a grocerey list.

**My car was in the shop and my wallet was in the car.. So needless to say, we didnt have much food in our house because I didnt have a way to go shopping**

So I was in the middle of writing it, and Bailey started screaming. I ask Haley to write somethings on the list that I was saying to her from the front room. When I came back in this was what I saw :(

**at the bottom it says "A LIFE"** :(

---I think it was all brought about because during the week I was texting her and she asked if I wanted her to come over and hang out.. I replied "YES"... She said I sounded DESPERATE!!

If you hadnt left your house in weeks.... YOU WOULD BE DESPERATE TOO!!!

PROPS TO EVERY MOM!!!!!

How do moms do it? I have just 1 baby and think sometimes that I can't do this mom thing anymore. Being a mom has to be the absolute most selfless thing in the whole world. When a baby enters into your life, I hate to break it to you but your life is OVER. A whole new world begins and boy oh boy is it crazy. Being a mother has taught me to forget about myself and focus on someone else. The highlight of my days often come when I just get to take a shower. Since I have been a mom the following have stopped:
*Daily Gym Goer
*Tanning
*Friday Salon Days- Nails Done- Pedicure
*Upkeeping the Hair- Wow my roots are bad
*Doing hair and make-up daily-- I feel bad for my husband- Most the time I look like a homeless bum
*Shopping Sprees
*Random Naps because I feel like it
*Friday Lunches with the girls
*Friday night Date night

I traded all of that for vomitting, diaria, fequent doctor visits, hospital visits, sleepless nights, screaming, cring, headaches. frustration, and much more...

HOWEVER--In a very strange way... I wouldnt have it any other way.

I have never experienced so much love in my life as I have being a mom.

Some how GOD has blessed me and I mean truly blessed me to do without!

OF COURSE- I would still love to get my hair and nails done every once in awhile and do some stuff for myself. But I have been blessed to be content in oversized sweat pants, no make-up, knotted hair, and hairy legs occasionally.

This morning a nurse from Banner Desert Hospital to let me know the result of Bailey's Urine test!!

IT'S OFFICIAL--- Bailey's has a fused labia and a Urinary Tract Infection

So Here Is Our NEW Schedule.. IT'S CRAZY!!

**ALSO MAKE BREAKFAST, LUNCH, AND DINNER.
**NOT TO MENTION CLEAN THE HOUSE AND DO THE LAUNDRY.

Wow Are You Kidding Me!!!

Wednesday night we came home from the hospital. Then Thursday Bailey started vomitting. She was only throwing up a couple times a day and it seemed to get all the mucus out and help her. Well a couple of days past and it didnt stop.

Sunday morning I woke up at 2 am to a puking baby. Then again at 7am. I called my mother and my father answered and said that we needed to take her back in.

I JUST COULDNT DO IT.. I DID NOT WANT TO GO BACK TO THE HOSPITAL.

So I said a little prayer.... Heavenly Father, if I am suppose to take Bailey back in please give me a sign.

Well a couple of hours past and it was now 10am. I decided to nurse Bailey. I said to myself, "IF SHE VOMITS THIS TIME, ILL TAKE HER." As she finished eating I lifted her up to burp her, and before I could get her on my shoulder, she was throwing up EVERYWHERE.

BACK TO THE HOSPITAL WE WENT. :(

Bailey now had "GASTROINTERITOUS" the doctor said that you only have to be exposed to it for 20min to catch it. It consist of Vomitting and Diaria.

**I THOUGHT TO MYSELF WE HAVENT BEEN ANYWHERE OR SEEN ANYONE**
THE ONLY PLACE WE HAVE BEEN IS THE HOSPITAL AND HOME.

AHHHA...... Bailey caught it Wednesday while we were in the ER for 4 hours!!!

Usually they dont admit you for this. However Bailey had lost over 1pound since her Wednesday visit. That was a big deal. So back into the hospital we went.

The doctor told us to be discharged she had to be able to go 24hours without any ZOFRAN (vomitting medicine). He told us most kids that have it this severe are usually there for several days to a week. :(

I prayed that her little tummy would get all better and that we would be able to go home MONDAY :) Well Monday morning came and Bailey hadnt thrown up for quite some time. The doctor told us if she could make it to NOON with out throwing up then we could be discharged!!! She made it and now we are back home.

I LOVE BEING HOME!

The Hospital room and bed.. Hopefully we wont see this again for a long long time!!

This was much better than the floor. It at least reclined a little bit. There was originally only 1 of them in the room. Vance tried to say that he would go home and sleep because there was no where for him to sleep, but I didnt want to be there by myself overnight.. So I kindly ask the nurse if it were possible to get another recliner/chair thing. She brought one in and Vance got to stay the night with me and Bailey. :)

Back to the Dr for a Check-up

Well after our horribly long weekend, Wednesday came and it was back to the doctor for a check up. We hadnt been at the doctor more than 5 minutes when he said, "mom, its time to take her back to the ER right now, her lungs sound horrible." I walked out of the doctors office and couldnt believe what I heard. Exhausted and overwhelmed, I got in the car and called my emotions got the best of me... I started cring. I was so exhausted and didnt know if I could take it anymore. I then called my mother who gave me words of encouragement and back the the hospital we went. ***4*** Hours of waiting in the ER and we were finally seen. The tubes went back down Bailey's throat and up her nose. I was terrified and reliving the last weekend all over again. Hours past and the doctor said "DO YOU WANT TO BE ADMITTED?" Instantly I replied "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO." She said Bailey would probably be OK to go home and if she did stay at the hospital she would probably catch something else and get even sicker..

YAY!!!! THAT WAS THE BEST NEWS I HAD HEARD ALL DAY :)

So home we went!!
